Determine if you require a study permit and/or visitor visa

As an international student, you may be required to obtain a study permit and/or a visitor visa to enter the country in which you intend to study.

You can determine those requirements by contacting the:

• authority responsible for immigration in the country of destination, and referring to the list of embassies, consulates, and high commissions in Canada;
• international office at your chosen educational institution.
