CICIC seeks to foster a climate of information sharing and open dialogue among the pan-Canadian community of academic credential assessors. The information found in this directory was developed on the basis of:
    - exchanges and discussions by experts in the field of assessment and recognition;
- existing policies and methodologies developed and used within:
        - academic credential assessment services;
- educational institutions; and
- regulatory bodies.
Members are invited to:
    - add additional information, such as:
        - document samples;
- comments on existing published information;
- suggestions for other comparability assessment outcomes within their particular context.
- propose a new academic credential issued outside Canada.
This collaborative approach is key to:
    - building an understanding of legitimate and substantial differences in assessment outcomes;
- ensuring the portability of assessment outcomes:
        - between the provinces and territories of Canada;
- within the organizations responsible for recognition that operate in various sectors.
CICIC welcomes contributions from the pan-Canadian community to help continuously improve the information published in this directory.
